With the spirit of Thanksgiving and other holidays approaching fast, BLTI has so much to be thankful for. We opened our doors in 1974 and have been blessed to continuously grow and thrive through all of the ups and downs of our industry!
The company began with Robert Lee joining Beeco Controls, and Deborah Lee joined the company shortly after. Bob had a strategic vision for the future and soon after joining Beeco, BL Technology Inc. (BLTI) was born.
Over the years, BLTI has been blessed to find many hard-working employees and technicians that have really helped our company to thrive and grow! BLTI has worked with many customers and clients all around Texas and even expanded their offerings globally!
In 2001, After being approached by customers, a new division was launched to add security systems to the company. With our leadership and our devoted team, we were able to rise to the request and added Access Control, Surveillance, CyberLock, Intrusion Alarm, and Monitoring.
Around 2009, with our current growth path, the business needed more space and room to grow. BLTI's new land was acquired in Tomball, TX and the designing process began. The vision for the facility was focused on the ability to house both operations and manufacturing into one building. With 10 acres available, there is even room to grow in the future. The facility was completed in late 2010, with a custom-designed facility with office space, warehouse, and 508a UL compliant panel shop.
In 2011, the decision was made to offer Life Safety, and the strategic purchase of Harrison Alarm Service Inc. happened, creating BLTI Services. BLTI Services offers Fire Alarm Systems, Mass Notification, Sound Reinforcement, Inspection, Monitoring, Intercom.
In 2020, BLTI added Bi-Directional Amplification Systems, and new for 2021 we now proudly offer the Guardian Indoor Shooter Detection System. Both new systems are designed to increase the response time for first responders, and save lives.
As we quickly approach our 50th anniversary, we want to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt Thank You to our wonderful dedicated staff, our customers, clients, and friends!
